In 2016, I co-founded Cambridge Institute of Clinical Sexology (CICS) with the aim of improving sexual wellbeing through professional education in interdisciplinary clinical sexology.
Along with clinical practice, I have been actively involved in the field of Education. In 2016 I completed a PhD at the University of Cambridge, UK, researching educational aspects of sexual health and wellbeing.
I am an integrative clinical sexologist (what does this mean?). I graduated as a medical doctor and specialised in sexual & relationship therapy at the Porterbrook Clinic in Sheffield – a centre of excellence, specialising in helping people with all kinds of sexual and relationship problems. I am accredited by the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and served as the vice-chair of the COSRT from 2015 to 2018.
In addition, I have attended the world renowned ESSM Oxford Sexual Medicine Course where I received a comprehensive and rigorous training in various aspects of Sexual Medicine. In 2012, I was awarded the prestigious title of ‘Fellow of European Committee of Sexual Medicine (FECSM)’ by the Multidisciplinary Joint Committee on Sexual Medicine (MJCSM). I am currently the only clinician in and around Cambridge to hold such a qualification.
